Catholic Women’s League

The Catholic Women’s League is a group of women who work and pray together for each other and our world.  We promote life and Catholic education, we support our church and parishioners and we value our community.  Each year we have one major fundraiser enabling us to donate to the church and other charities.  As well, we assist our members with their spiritual growth through service to our parish and attendance at retreats, leadership training and conventions.  Membership is just $25 per year which includes the quarterly National Magazine.  We meeting monthly from September to June.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization whose mission is:  To live the Gospel message of serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy.

Our parish conference members aid the needy in our community with food and other help, always listening with a non-judgmental ear.  We pray for our clients and we try to ease their suffering.  Our focus is the Corporal Works of Mercy.  Our members work in pairs to evaluate situations and offer help.  Assistance from the SSVP is not intended to be a means of continuing support.  We encourage people to become self-sufficient.  The SSVP’s funding comes from donations collected the third weekend of every month.  Donations may be made through the collection basket, by mail or to the parish office through the use of special envelopes throughout the year.
